Withdrawal Please!

Today Marsel was 3 players away from main draw. But a recent tweet told there is only 1 guy between Marsel and first draw.

We don't know which 2 players withdrew but we have some nominees in our minds for the remaining 1 player.

Withdrawal? Anyone???

News From Marsel

Here.

Quotes;

'This tournament and this match has been a great experience for me. I'll work better and represent Turkey better.''

Of course!

''My opponent was resistant. I was sure that i would win this match but it didn't happen. I couldn't convert a few break points. Those were the most important moments at the match. I lacked a little experience. My opponent played better in important moments. From now on i will gain more experience and convert those chances. ''

We are sure he will gain experience..

''Before the match he told it won't be easy. I beat him before in Rotterdam. Lopez was ambitious in this match.''

Meh, he is Spanish and surface is red clay...

''I wanted to win this match but it didn't happen. I wanted to go to at least fourth round. Next year i'll work harder''

Let it be what's best for you :(

''I'we been playing well lately. Especially i improved my serve. I hit 50 ace in this tournament, I'm leading the serve statistics now. But i will improve more''

Wimbledon! Wait for Marsel!

Marsel threw his racquet several times in the match but he told he would stay calmer and won't do that often from now on. This is what we expect from him. If he can stay calmer he won't miss that much of opportunities.

And his next tournament is Queens! Yay!

We Won

G.Garcia-Lopez d. M.Ilhan 6-4/1-6/6-2/4-6/13-11

Nothing much to tell about match, score speaks for itself.

We won a lot of things with this match, world heard of Marsel and Turkey too...

Let me write about why we started this blog. As you can remember at the beginning of this season things were not going as planned for Marsel. Russell and i were sad, because we knew he was more than that. Those results were nor fair, at least we felt that way. We were talking about what could someone do and we came up with this blog idea. Maybe people would click and recognize him, maybe Marsel would see and feel supported... Of couse it sounds silly but we just wanted to do something.

Today was a day that we felt we were so right about our thoughts of Marsel. According to the things we heard Marsel's calf went purple during second set and he had a time our, but you couldn't tell it from scoreline because he fought that way. In the final set he spent many break points partly due to his lack of movement because od the injury. Do we care? No.

Today we won many things. First of all, we got hope. We got faith and we learnt being patient and working hard pays off.

With this serve, patience and will we expect more from him in Wimbledon . Come on Marsel!
